It’s Saturday morning and the church is quiet – except for a few. It’s good to be here, none the less.
It is a privilege to serve on the leadership team of this loving community of Water Street Church.
It continues to be an eventful year.
Approximately one year ago we returned to a newly renovated church with some wonderful events. And, we continued to work on finishing the building project we know as Project Glory. We relaunched wonderful ministries and an ALPHA program.
Then COVID happened … and we had to find a new way.
Since March, and that included our Spring Church Life meeting, we have lived through what some say is an unprecedented period ~
but maybe it’s not.
Yes, we have challenges on the health front, challenges on the economic front, challenges on the social front, challenges in our emotional and spiritual life. Change and adjustment has taken centre stage and remains so this fall. Our patience has been tested.
We take comfort that people have endured through very difficult times in the past.
We step out in faith because our God does not change.
We are weak, but our God is strong. We get tired, but He will carry us on.
We are convinced that God has a plan for us. We pray for His blessing on our meeting and fellowship!
