Women at the Well (our new name!)
2025-2026 Season Startup: We have a great study session series planned on women in the Bible, with times for fellowship, breakfast together and lots of conversation!
Come to any session and join us. We’ll start at 9:15 a.m. with coffee and just getting to know one another. Lesson study materials are available … just ask. In summer, we gather under the canopy for coffee and fellowship. If you need any more information, please contact the office.
Exciting Things Planned!
We will start by looking at stories of wells in the scripture, looking at the ways in which they served to provide a sense of community to the women and how they fellowshipped with each other. So we are introducing Fellowship weeks into our schedule. These weeks will give us a chance to get to know each other better, to lift one another up, and share our faith stories. We are branching out to new types of studies beyond RightNow Media for the study each week.
All ladies are welcome to join us on Wednesday, September 10, for a kick-off breakfast/brunch, at 9:30, in the Gathering. Notebooks with goodies and materials will be passed out. We will be talking about what fellowship is and providing an overview of the plans for the year. Please join us…..and bring a friend!
Ministry to Seafarers at Christmas
For a number of years we have prepared Christmas Parcels for the Ministry to Seafarers (M2S). If you’re interesting in knowing more about the organization, check out their website.
Last November 31 Christmas parcels were put together for the Seafarers’ Christmas Parcel Campaign. The Seafarers in Montreal distributed 1,330 parcels to 62 ships! The WSC Women’s group is blessed to be part of this annual service to those many seafarers who spend Christmas far away from friends and family.
